About the Knights St Columbanus
The Order of the Knights of St Columbanus is an organisation of Catholic lay men who support the Church through the following core activities.
Faith Formation – Family Involvement – Fraternal networking
Applications are welcome from individuals under 25 years of age, School Groups from second level Schools and Colleges, and groups from Parishes within the area of the Omagh Council, which are listed below.
To improve the knowledge of the members of the Omagh Council about our faith and Christian values.
To improve the knowledge of the members of the Omagh Council on the Order of the Knights of St Columbanus.
To promote catholic values in our communities.
To provide support for the Church and the Clergy.
To engage the expertise of our members in delivering on the objectives of the Council.
To promote the sense of fellowship and family in the Council through our programme of social activities.
To expand the membership of the Council and contribute to the sustainability of the Order.
To provide leadership and direction to the members of the Omagh Council.
